When I started Petite Glam, I wanted to create dresses that make petite women feel confident, feminine and comfortable without worrying about proportions.
The Dunes Collection was born from my admiration for the way Arabic women dress — their quiet elegance, perfect proportions, and the way they look both modest and striking. I noticed this while living in London, watching beautifully dressed women in Harrods and the streets of Knightsbridge. The palette — white, black, and camel — is a tribute to desert tones: minimal, timeless, powerful.
This collection features two pieces: Soraya (the long, turtle-neck maxi) and Amelia (the short, V-neck mini). Both are made for petites but flatter many different body types.
Soraya – The First Dress I Designed
I created Soraya because I couldn’t find the perfect do-it-all dress — one that is elegant but comfortable, modest yet subtly sexy. I wanted something I could wear to the office, a dinner out, or even a casual walk without overthinking styling.
Why it works for petites: the vertical ribbed fabric slims and elongates, while the ankle-skimming length proves that petites can wear maxi if the proportions are right. The turtle neckline visually extends the line from the ankles to the neck, making you appear taller and more statuesque.
Body-friendly fit: Soraya hugs the waist and skims over the hips — perfect if you have curves or want to balance fuller hips with a defined waist. It’s less ideal for very slim frames (they might prefer Amelia’s cut).

Amelia – Minimalist Chic, Petite-Friendly Mini
Amelia uses the same ribbed fabric but reinterprets it into a shorter, V-neck mini. I designed it for women who want something more revealing but still elegant — ideal for warmer days or when you want to highlight your proportions.
Why it works for petites: the V-neck elongates the neck and upper body, while the fitted ribbed fabric creates clean, flattering lines. The shorter length adds height and makes legs appear longer.
Versatile personality: Amelia is minimal yet striking — a true throw-on-and-go dress.
